DURING World War II.

HE WAS SEVERELY INJURED PARACHUTING INTO HOLLAND AND LATER RESCUED AFTER HIS

HIS MISSION WAS CALLED

THE CODE NAME "MARKET GARDEN" FOR THIS MISSION WAS USED SINCE IT WAS A COMMON NAME FOR ROAD SIDE GARDEN STANDS IN EUROPE CONNECTING THE NAME TO OUR OWN COUNTRY STORE IN LAKE HOPATCONG TODAY
